Keept is built around one rule: your records stay on your device.

1. What we collect

We do not collect any personal information about you.

Keept does not run servers that store your data. There is no Keept account, no sign-in, no cloud sync of your records, and no analytics SDK or third-party tracking inside the app.

This matches the privacy nutrition label filed with Apple, which reports “Data Not Collected” for every category.

2. What stays on your device

The following items live on your iPhone or iPad, protected by iOS Complete File Protection:

• Original documents you capture or import (photos, PDFs, scanned receipts).
• Extracted fields (date, vendor, amount, GST, suggested ATO label, your confirmations).
• Drafts, decisions, and the substantiation packs you generate at the end of the financial year.
• App preferences (your display name in the Profile, accessibility flags).

This data is removed from your device when you:

• Delete an individual record from inside the app.
• Uninstall Keept.
• Erase your iPhone or iPad.

We have no way to access this data and it never leaves your device through Keept.

3. The one outbound network request

Keept makes a single category of outbound network call:
